Hmmm wine and hopscotch. That image made me laugh even harder than you sanitizing bread, which was exactly MY reaction, when I read the comment of your poor, horrified commenter ("through the paper", thank goodness!) This reminds me of a health food shop we had in one of our local villages, where coffee was kept in huge, cloth sacs, on the floor, in the middle of the store. Eww just on that alone, given the dust and whatever happened to fall in as people walked by. One day I was horrified and outraged to observe the joy that a father and his preteen son derived from the tactile pleasure of digging their hands into the beans, up to their elbows. Need I tell you about MY end of the ensuing dialogue? Enjoying your blog immensely. I have not been by in a while and glad to have found new entries since the last time I looked. Thank you, I needed these!
